iRecord Soil is a system for recording and storing your soil sample analysis information.

The goal of iRecord Soil is to monitor change in soil health through linking geolocation of samples with laboratory sample analysis. It gives you, the user, free digital record keeping, geo located data that can be used for precision farming, links to laboratory analysis, visualisation tools and the ability to contribute to national research objectives.

Your data is held privately and is viewed only by the laboratory you select to analyse your samples and by staff of the Natural Environment Research Council centres:

  • Centre for Ecology & Hydrology
  • British Geological Survey

who provide this free service. We will use anonymised and aggregated data to help develop new understanding into soil health, crop productivity and land management for the agricultural and land management community. We will not publish any data that can be linked back to specific locations or users.
